Solo Homes

SOLO HOMES

Our Solo Homes have been created to meet the needs of very complex children and young people.  Designed to look after just one young person, a Care Afloat Solo Home offers a tailored care package which firstly works to identify and then to manage the risks surrounding some of the sector’s most complex children.

“Staff promote the needs of young people effectively and enthusiastically. They ensure that they benefit from the best possible help and all-round support. Young people become increasingly safer, as a result of the actions staff take to support and protect them. They feel safe and have a strong sense of personal safety”
