It is often difficult to tell the difference between difficult teenage behaviour and the signs of sexual exploitation. The more information you have about the signs of sexual exploitation and risks that children may face, the better equipped you will be to respond.

An affected child will often be unaware that they are being groomed and once they are sexually exploited it can be difficult for them to tell anyone. This short resource will give you the information that you need to help recognise the signs of sexual exploitation and know who to contact for help.  

The duration of this course is approximately 1 hour - the length of time taken depends entirely on how quickly you can study and absorb the material. You do not have to complete all the training in one session and can proceed as quickly or as slowly as you like. Once you have undertaken all of the activities and passed the online assessment, you will be awarded your certificate.
