SAILS- Our accommodation

Our accommodations have been designed to be homely, comfortable and welcoming, enabling the young people in our care to feel safe and looked after. We offer everything you’d expect to find in a modern family home, balanced alongside relevant modifications, enabling us to provide the best care for individuals’ needs.

Our flats are single-occupancy, providing privacy and tranquillity for each young person we care for. ​

Each flat is furnished and decorated to a good standard with each room has a double sized bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, adequate storage and a desk and a stool for the young person to study if they wish to do so. The rooms are equipped with a T.V that is attached to the wall. 

The accommodation has central heating, double glazed windows and fully double-glazed patio doors leading from each flat into a communal garden space.  

Each flat has a fully equipped kitchen with a range of cooking and baking facilities for young people to practice and evolve their independence skills. 

The bathrooms are fitted with a bath, toilet, sink and electric shower. 

Each flat is accessed through the communal foyer area. Shared facilities include the utility facility, which is located in a room off the foyer, and contains a washing machine along with a tumble drier.  

The outside garden space is a communal space which is fully contained and can be accessed directly from each flat.
