Learn 4 Life Newsletter – 16th February 2024
Dear Learn 4 Life School Community,
We’re thrilled to share some exciting updates from our school this week!
Thanks to the generous donation from The Turing Trust, we have received a wonderful gift of 15 laptops and 5 desktop computers. These new additions will significantly enhance our school’s resources, providing our students with more opportunities for learning and development. We are incredibly grateful for this support, which will undoubtedly benefit our entire school community.
In other news, we are excited to announce that Nicola and I have relocated to the new outside office space. This move has allowed us to create a much-needed staff area and intervention space for our students. We believe this new environment will further enhance our ability to support student success and well-being.
Our students have also been busy engaging in various activities this week. From badminton and snooker to pool games, our students have been enjoying a range of recreational activities. Additionally, in our food tech classes, students have had the opportunity to showcase their culinary skills by making delicious scones.
As we bid farewell for now, please note that the school will be closed today for our February half-term break. We hope all our students and staff enjoy a well-deserved rest and have a fantastic week off. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 26th February refreshed and ready for more exciting learning adventures.
Wishing you all a wonderful break filled with relaxation and fun!
Warm regards
James McAlpine
