All staff will be attending this training, so they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to adopt the SPIRAL model of care.
It has long been established that children in care, and staff teams benefit from having a clear therapeutic model of care. We have adopted the Spiral Model of Care which was developed by Dr Krissie Ivings in response to her ambition to create the best possible therapeutic environments and deliver the most effective therapeutic support to vulnerable, damaged, distressed children and young adults living in residential placements. The trainers Coral and Victoria both have vast experience working in mental health services and therapeutic settings.
