Jodrell Bank Science Day
This week, our students had the incredible opportunity to visit Jodrell Bank, one of the UK’s most iconic scientific landmarks. The day was packed with hands-on activities, workshops, and an inspiring tour of the observatory. It was a science-themed day designed to spark curiosity and deepen their understanding of space, astronomy, and the world of science. Our pupils were highly engaged, asking thoughtful questions, and participating with real enthusiasm. I’ve no doubt that this experience has ignited a few future scientists among us!
Sports and Enrichment Activities
Beyond the classroom, we have also had a fantastic range of physical activities this week. Pupils participated in tennis, bowling, and golf, all of which provided great opportunities for teamwork, physical exercise, and fun. Whether they were perfecting their tennis serves, scoring strikes at the bowling alley, or improving their swings on the golf course, it was wonderful to see such high levels of energy and engagement. These activities are not only great for physical development but also for building social skills and self-confidence.
A Settled and Focused Week
It is also worth noting how settled and focused our pupils have been this week. Whether in lessons, sports, or extracurricular activities, their behaviour and attitude to learning have been exemplary. It has been a real pleasure to see them so engaged with their studies and so willing to participate in everything that is on offer. This positive attitude has created a productive learning environment throughout the school, and I want to congratulate every student for contributing to such a harmonious week.
Looking Ahead
As we move forward, I am confident that this momentum will continue. We have many more exciting activities and learning opportunities planned, and I encourage all pupils to stay focused and keep making the most of their time in school.
