Dear Parents/Carers, Staff, and Students,
I trust this message finds you in good spirits. As we navigate through another exciting week at Learn 4 Life School, I am pleased to share some highlights that showcase the diverse and enriching experiences our school community has to offer.
Jam Roll Poly in Food Tech: Our students recently indulged in a delightful Food Tech lesson where they explored the art of creating delicious jam roll polys. Under the guidance of our talented Food Tech team, students not only learned valuable culinary skills but also savoured the joy of creating something truly scrumptious.
Badminton Takes Centre Stage in Sports: Our commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle continues with great enthusiasm. This week, our sports enthusiasts showcased their badminton prowess on the court. It’s inspiring to witness the dedication and sportsmanship displayed by our students as they engage in these invigorating activities.
Snooker Session Unleashes Hidden Talents: In pursuit of discovering and nurturing hidden talents, our school recently hosted an engaging snooker session. The event not only provided students with the opportunity to try their hand at a new skill but also encouraged camaraderie and friendly competition.
Positive Engagement in Lessons: I am delighted to acknowledge the commendable level of engagement observed in our classrooms. Our students’ active participation and enthusiasm in lessons are a testament to the collaborative learning environment we strive to foster at Learn 4 Life School. Their dedication to academic excellence is truly commendable.
School Closure and Construction Update: I extend my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused by the recent temporary closure due to construction work. I am pleased to confirm that the construction has been successfully completed, bringing about positive changes to our school environment. Furthermore, we are excited to announce the delivery of our new school office.
As part of this development, Nicola and I will be relocating to the new office space, thereby freeing up valuable intervention space within the school. This strategic move is aligned with our commitment to enhancing support services for our pupils.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this transitional period. We are confident that these improvements will contribute to an even more conducive learning environment for all.
As always, I appreciate your ongoing support, and I look forward to witnessing the continued growth and success of our Learn 4 Life School community.
Best regards,
James McAlpine, Headteacher
